Tenerife Accommodation. Tenerife has long been a popular destination for the British. Attractions include excellent weather all year round, low cost golf on some of the most attractive golf courses in the world along with fabulous food at very low prices.

It is fair to say that Tenerife can be all things to all people. Now, Las Americas and Los Cristianos are twins joined at the hip. Frankly neither of them are for us but even this is not to say that Los Cristianos does not have excellent restaurants and a huge variety of shops. Those seeking quality fashion will not be disappointed by a day trip. But Las Americas and Los Cristianos and nothing like the be all and end when it comes to Tenerife accommodation.

Food for Tenerife Holidays
There has of course always been good food on Tenerife but now it has become accessible. When we first came in 1987 you could always find marvelous fish and steak restaurants but you had to look! In recent years, the standard of the supermarkets has grown to be similar to those in the UK and rather like those that we British so admire in France - there is a picture to the right.

When we stay in our apartment on Golf del Sur, we like to eat in for at least some of the time. Our kitchen is well-equipped and there is even a French cookery book. No need to worry about washing up, there is even a dishwasher in our Tenerife accommodation.
